Hi Friends

Today is White Cane Day! So why not start our adventure today? I have been legally blind my entire life, I have trained with a white cane and helped others learn to assist or just spend time with a blind individual. I work every year with children that have varying levels of vision loss and I appreciate what this world has taught me.

Let us celebrate together and share stories of out challenges and accomlishments. Send me your story and I will share it.

I’m Stephanie

Hello! My name is Stephanie and it is great to meet you!! I am a mother and wife and I have many hobbies. I am also considered legally blind. I am part of the American Counsil for the Blind, I worked for the school for the blind in my state and I volunteer at a camp where we host many children with vision and hearing loss. I took ASL to better communicate with the deaf and I am doing what I can to understand the lives of other people with disabilities. I am working on a degree in Sports and Health Sciences and I am on a mission to create some gym-based changes for various disabilities.
